The event takes place at the “Attilio” cooking school in Or Yehuda (The location might change depending on the number of participants. Reaching “Attilio” by car takes about 20 minutes from Tel Aviv and 10 minutes from Ben Gurion Airport). Chef Michael Katz tells the exciting story of the culinary theater in Israel through its thrilling timeline, revealing how chefs in Israel think and operate, and recounting the events that shaped the “gastronomic theater” in Israel into what it is today. During the session a seven-course meal, accompanied by fine local wine, and three live cooking demonstrations will take place. In the meantime, the chef will be conversing with the audience and telling a “Chef’s story” combining facts with humor. Each dish has been carefully selected; the story of its ingredients, the events and ideas surrounding them along with the story of the Israeli people will also be told by the Chef. This will surely be one of the highlights of your gastronomic experience in Israel. At the end of the session, a booklet containing all the recipes will be handed out to the participants.
